How to Install live-build software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

live-build software package provides Debian Live - System build scripts, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install live-build

live-build is installed in your system.

Make ensure the live-build package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep live-build *

You will get with live-build package name, version, architecture and description in a table
